*NOTE- Angel is not available for transport out east.
5/18/10- Foster family figured out the invisible fence had some broken links, so she is now wearing the collar and staying in the area with no problems. She is such a sweetheart and has come a long ways and will make a great family pet!!
3/14/10- Angel is doing better, but is still scared and shy and needs more time to gain her confidence.
2/5/10- From Angel's Foster Mom, "Hey ya'll i just wanted to let you know that I took Angel to the vet today and she comes back with a clean bill of health! She has an ear infection but we have meds and that should clear up in no time. She is 56 lbs and eating like a champ so I bet we will have her up to a healthy weight in no time! She continues to do better everyday learning to be a "normal" dog. The kids LOVE her and she loves being loved on by them. She is very gentle and tolerant but sudden movements and the vacuum scare her to death still. She still hates being in the kennel by herself but she doesnt have accidents anymore so we dont make her stay in there very often. She is enjoying sleeping with my oldest son and follows him in the room some nights at bedtime. We havent really started any "training" yet. She doesnt respond to any dominance so we are waiting for her to get a little more used to us before we do. She does know get down and kennel very well tho. Doesnt walk on a leash well yet either but we are trying. :) She got all her shots, HEARTWORM NEGATIVE, fecal negative, and the 2 lumps on her are just cysts and the Dr said they were nothing to worry about and didnt have to be removed unless they became infected but that we shouldnt worry about that. They drained them and tested the fluid. She started her first dose of heart guard and frontline today."
I am a rare reverse sealed brindle. I was used by a breeder, but now the nice BoxAR people have taken me in. I am very skinny and need to be fatten up. Won't you adopt me soon?
NOTE:
We are not a shelter or pound. We don't have a facility. We are all volunteers who love the Boxers. We have jobs and families and don't have "regular business hours". For this reason, we don't show the dogs until an application has been submitted. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt a Boxer, but it does tell us that your interest in rescue is serious. We thank you for being considerate of our time and efforts.
