3/10/10- Corey is doing great in his foster home. The vet put him on Heartgard Plus since he was very light heartworm positive and thinks that will take care of the heartworms. Corey is a sweetheart with a long natural tail and who is looking for his forever home. He likes to go for walks and just loves attention!!! Get your application in for this sweetie!!!
1/30/10- Corey went to his foster home today. He is getting along great with his foster parents, kids and cat. He and the 2 boxers are trying to figure out what to do with each other. He ate a big bowl of food, toured the house, and took a nap against Foster Dad, who is very attached to. He is the sweetest boy and so smart. He can sit for a cookie and let it go all the way to his mouth and will not take the cookie until you tell him to.
1/22/10- Corey is all natural with his long boxer tail. He loves people and is ready to get his forever home. He is cautious at first and then is fine. More pics and video coming soon. This boy needs a foster home. He does need heartworm treatment. He was pulled from a shelter and was an owner surrender and brought in with a chain around his neck and that was the leash. He was an outside dog. He loved the Tech and the guys who worked at the shelter and made sure to give them all kisses when he left.
NOTE: We are not a shelter or pound. We don't have a facility. We are all volunteers who love the Boxers. We have jobs and families and don't have "regular business hours". For this reason, we don't show the dogs until an application has been submitted. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt a Boxer, but it does tell us that your interest in rescue is serious. We thank you for being considerate of our time and efforts.
