* Not available for transport out east.
She needs to go to a home with a dog around her size who likes to play.
5/7/10- Camille is through with heartworm treatment and feeling good!! She is ready for her forever home.
3/17/10- Camille is crate trained. Camille has some new pictures and you can tell how gorgeous she is now!! She loves to play with the other boxers but does have times when she seems scared and will not go outside and looks scared. She is a sweetheart and was spayed on 2/22/10 and will get heartworm treatment started soon as the meds come into the vet office. She should be done and ready for her new home at end of April.
2/18/10- Camille will be spayed on 2/22/10. She continues to improve in her foster home but is still skinny and needs to gain confidence.
2/1/10- Camille is in her foster home and everyday she is getting better and interacting more with the other boxers. She is such a good girl and she will be the best boxer for a family. She is off all meds and out of the vet. Her little bottom teeth in front are missing from eating things in the woods. She is a happy girl and is getting along great with all the boxers in the foster home. She is a small female who just wants to know she is safe and loved. She is eating good and that is good as she is all bones. She still has some dryng up to do before she can be spayed. But she is a sweet sweet girl. She loves to play and seems to have been an indoor dog before she got in the woods. Get your application in!!
Camille is the mother of Fitz, Luke, China, Gibbs and Dereck. Mom and the 5 puppies were rescued from the woods where they were living in an old sofa. She was such a good Mommy and took care of these babies for 7 weeks, until she almost didn't make it. Four puppies were rescued by Animal Control and then 2 days later he was able to get Camille and Luke. Camille has been at the vet recovering and is having some medical problems. She is very emaciated. She is the sweetest Boxer and is a small boxer. We are praying that she makes a full recovery. We are so proud of her!! Camille needs angels to be sponsors to help pay for the vet bills as we do not know when she can get out. She also needs a foster home when she is ready. She will need her forever home soon too!!!!
NOTE:
We are not a shelter or pound. We don't have a facility. We are all volunteers who love the Boxers. We have jobs and families and don't have "regular business hours". For this reason, we don't show the dogs until an application has been submitted. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt a Boxer, but it does tell us that your interest in rescue is serious. We thank you for being considerate of our time and efforts.
