3/19/10- Update- Jersey is eating and putting weight on and is now up to 40 lbs!!
Jerseys weighs approximately 35 lbs; just a petite girl. She is a very sweet dog who has a lot of energy. She will need a yard to run in, for sure. She is in need of a family who knows how to teach a dog good habits because she doesn't know "sick em" from "come ere". She is crate trained which is a plus. She does fine with other dogs. She also does well with the family's 11 month old, baby girl and loves to share her kisses! She is very boisterous, however, and must be watched or she will knock her down accidently! She thinks she is a "lap dog" and will crawl up in your lap for loving when you sit on the couch. When she was a puppy, her leg was broken, and the pad on that foot developed gangrene. Jersey had to have two of her toes removed because of that. She did receive prompt veterinary care and so she has no problems from her missing toes.
Jersey really needs a "fur-ever" home; she has SO much love to give! Let her share her love with you!
NOTE:
We are not a shelter or pound. We don't have a facility. We are all volunteers who love the Boxers. We have jobs and families and don't have "regular business hours". For this reason, we don't show the dogs until an application has been submitted. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt a Boxer, but it does tell us that your interest in rescue is serious. We thank you for being considerate of our time and efforts.
